Vatican presents silver coin dedicated to Ukraine

The presentation of the Papal charitable silver coin to help Ukraine took place in the Vatican, in one of the largest palaces - Palazzo della Cancelleria.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
It is noted that the event was attended by honored guests, representatives of embassies at the Holy See, and artists with the Kharkiv Opera and Ballet Theater.
During the presentation, everyone could purchase the new coins.
"Funds received from the sale of the coin, valued at 50 euros, will be directed to the initiatives of Pope Francis to help the people of Ukraine affected by the war," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the 100th day of the full-scale war, the Vatican Office of Philately and Numismatics issued a special silver coin dedicated to Ukraine.
