Three candidates nominated for head of Ukraine's High Anti-Corruption Court

Three candidates have been nominated for the post of head of the High Anti-Corruption Court at a meeting of judges that began in Kyiv on Tuesday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

In particular, judges of the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court nominated Oleh Pavlyshyn, Olena Tanasevych and Markiyan Halabala for the post.

The court will be headed by a candidate who is supported by at least 20 out of 38 judges of the High Anti-Corruption Court.

Pavlyshyn, before appointment as a judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court, worked as a judge of the Court of Appeal of Lviv Region.

Tanasevych previously worked as a judge of the Pechenihy District Court in Kharkiv region.

Halabala served as executive manager at a law firm and a lawyer for the families of the Heroes of Heavenly Hundred.
