Russian attacks in Sumy region over past 24 hours kill four civilians, wound nine

In the Sumy region, four people were killed and nine wounded in Russian attacks over the past 24 hours.

According to Ukrinform, the National Police reported this on Facebook.

Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces shelled 44 settlements in the Sumy region. Police investigative teams and bomb disposal experts were on the scene at the impact sites.

The enemy carried out strikes on the Sumy, Shostka, Okhtyrka, and Konotop districts of the region

In the Khotyn community, a 38-year-old man was killed as a result of an enemy drone strike.

In the Hlukhiv community, two men aged 52 and 58 were killed in an enemy attack. Eight more people were injured: women aged 57, 58, 86, and 92, as well as men aged 33, 37, 54, and 82.

In the Buryn community, a Russian drone struck a civilian vehicle. A 48-year-old woman was killed in the attack, and a 58-year-old man was injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of May 20, the Konotop and Shostka communities were subjected to a massive attack by Russian drones, resulting in damaged buildings and casualties.
