Poroshenko signs law on strengthening social protection of children residing in occupied territories and near contact line

President Petro Poroshenko has signed the law on amendments to some laws of Ukraine concerning the strengthening of social protection of persons residing in the temporarily occupied territories and the settlements near the contact line.

This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State on Thursday.

"The document is aimed at strengthening of the state support in obtaining education in state and communal educational establishments for the relevant category of people who live in the temporarily occupied territories and the settlements near the contact line," reads a statement.

As noted, the support will be implemented in the framework of the state program and will provide a set of activities.
