Warhead of Russian Geran-2 drone found in Kyiv forest belt

According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv City Department of the National Police reported this.

A resident discovered the debris of the enemy UAV, including the warhead, while walking on the edge of the forest.

Patrol officers arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area. Police bomb disposal experts rendered the munition safe and then removed it for subsequent controlled destruction at a specialized testing range.

According to preliminary data, the discovered debris belongs to a Geran-2 type drone launched by Russian troops into Ukraine during a combined attack.

The investigative and operational group of the territorial police department documented yet another crime committed by the Russian Federation.

As reported by Ukrinform, in April, in Kyiv, a Russian drone equipped with a warhead was recovered from the Dnipro River.
