Sybiha: Domino of deposed dictators must continue, Putin's fall is inevitable

The Russian leader has lost three of his "closest friends" who headed countries in just over a year, indicating a decline in Russia's global influence.

Ukraine's Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha wrote this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

"Assad, Maduro, and now Khamenei. Putin has lost three of his closest pals in little more than a year. He has also not helped any of them," Sybiha said.

According to him, this dynamic proves three things.

"First, Russia is not a reliable ally even for those who rely heavily on it," he noted.

He added that, second, while Russia remains bogged down in its senseless war against Ukraine, a war it will never win and refuses to end, its global influence is sharply declining.

Third, he said, the domino of toppled dictators must continue, and the fall of Vladimir Putin is inevitable one day.

"Together, we must make every effort to bring this joyous day closer and ensure accountability for all Russian crimes. The justice is inevitable," he concluded.

As Ukrinform reported, on February 28 the United States and Israel carried out joint strikes on facilities of the Iranian regime. After that, Iran attacked U.S. bases in Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan.

Subsequently, the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) confirmed that Iran's Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, was killed on the morning of February 28.
