President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the further peace process will depend on the outcome of talks by the U.S. delegation in Moscow.

The Head of State made the remarks during a joint media briefing with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin in Dublin, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“First of all, there will be a meeting of the American delegation in Russia. We will be waiting for the corresponding signals from them. They want to report directly to us after their meeting. I think the next steps will depend on these signals. Steps will change throughout the day, even, I think, hour by hour,” Zelensky said.

According to him, depending on what signals are received, and whether there is fair play from the partners, decisions will be made regarding the next meeting and its level.

“If the signals allow for quick and comprehensive decisions, then the level [of the meeting] will be higher… One can just talk, or one can achieve the maximum to bring the end of the war closer. I am ready to receive all signals, ready for a meeting with President Trump. Everything depends on today’s discussions,” the President added.

He also noted that he would not disclose the points of the peace plan currently under discussion.

“As for the points, I’m not sure I’m ready to share all the topics, all the items of this plan (…), but what I can say is that the most sensitive issues, the most difficult questions and challenges, relate to territories and frozen assets,” the Head of State emphasized.
