Two patrol officers killed in Russian shelling in Donetsk region

Two patrol officers, Ihor Lisytsyn and Ihor Radzyminskyi, were killed on April 11 in the Donetsk region as a result of Russian shelling.

This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine, according to Ukrinform.

Before Russia’s full-scale invasion, both officers served in the Tactical Response Unit (TOR) of the Patrol Police in the Kharkiv region. Lisytsyn was the company commander, while Radzyminskyi served as an inspector. In 2022, they joined the front together and later became artillerymen in the Khyzhak (Predator) brigade.

Major Ihor Lisytsyn served as commander of an artillery company within the brigade. He is remembered by comrades as a leader who guided others and was always ready to help. He is survived by his mother, wife, and son.

Captain Ihor Radzyminskyi was a senior officer in an artillery battery. Fellow servicemen describe him as a kind, reliable, and courageous soldier. He is survived by his parents, wife, and a son born in April last year.

Earlier, it was reported that a Ukrainian police officer was killed on April 5 when a Russian FPV drone struck a service vehicle in the Kherson region.
