Foreign ministers of Ukraine and Spain discuss results of Geneva peace talks
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this on social network X, Ukrinform reports.
Sybiha noted that he also discussed with the Spanish minister “the next steps in our peace efforts.”
“I emphasised the importance of further increasing pressure on the aggressor, including sanctions and enabling the full use of frozen Russian assets—we need this decision as soon as possible,” the Ukrainian foreign minister emphasized.
He also thanked his colleague for Volodymyr Zelensky's recent successful visit to Spain and for that country's consistent support for Ukraine.
As reported by Ukrinform, the foreign ministers of Ukraine, Germany, Britain, France, Finland, Italy, and Poland coordinated their positions during telephone talks following yesterday's meeting between the Ukrainian and American delegations in Geneva.
