Parliament Committee backs minister Halushchenko’s resignation

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Legal Policy has supported the resignation of Herman Halushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice.

Ukrinform reported this with reference to the press service of the Ukrainian Parliament.

According to the statement, the Committee decided to submit the matter of Minister of Justice Herman Halushchenko’s resignation for consideration by the Verkhovna Rada.

Parliament reminded that the Prime Minister’s motion to dismiss Halushchenko, along with his own resignation letter, was submitted to the Rada on November 12, 2025.

As reported earlier, amid the investigation into Energoatom, President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko and Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk must step down.

The Verkhovna Rada will consider the resolutions on the dismissal of Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk and Justice Minister Herman Halushchenko on Tuesday, November 18.
