Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thanked the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Keir Starmer for continuing humanitarian and energy support for Ukraine, as well as for the announced package of energy assistance.

According to Ukrinform, Zelensky reported this on Telegram.

"As Russia increases attacks on civilians and critical infrastructure, such solidarity is crucial," he noted.

Zelensky also highlighted the UK's decision to impose a ban on maritime services for transporting Russian liquefied natural gas.

"The UK also announced its plans to introduce a maritime services ban on Russian LNG trade – an important step in ramping up pressure and making the aggressor pay the price for the war. We expect all these measures to be realised swiftly," he said.
