Ukrinform
Ukraine is advancing on the path of key reforms and must sustain its momentum, preventing any risk of backsliding, in particular on anti-corruption.

European Commissioner for Enlargement Marta Kos announced this on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.

"2025 was a year of significant progress for EU enlargement. Montenegro, Albania, Ukraine and Moldova stand out," Kos said, adding that these countries "advanced most on reforms in the past year."

According to Kos, candidate countries have ambitious goals to complete their accession negotiations, stressing that the coming year "will be a moment of truth."

In a separate post, Kos said that Ukraine had "demonstrated its commitment to its EU path, decisively moving forward on key reforms, amid the challenges caused by Russia’s war of aggression."
