Zelensky, Tsahkna discuss defense support for Ukraine, sanctions against Russia

Zelensky reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"I held a meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Margus Tsahkna. We discussed many important issues – long-range capabilities, drone production, and overall defense support for Ukraine," Zelensky said.

According to him, the parties also discussed cooperation between Ukraine and the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF), increasing pressure on Russia, diplomatic efforts, and priorities during Estonia's upcoming chairmanship of the Nordic-Baltic Eight next year.

Zelensky expressed gratitude to the people and government of Estonia for supporting Ukraine since the very beginning of the war.

"We are deeply grateful to the people and government of Estonia for standing with us since the very beginning of this war. Thank you for supporting our path toward the European Union, the sanctions policy, and our warriors. Ukraine can count on Estonia's assistance, and we greatly appreciate that," he noted.

As Ukrinform reported, Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna arrived in Kyiv on October 27. Earlier, Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko discussed energy support for Ukraine with Tsahkna amidst ongoing Russian attacks.
