Zelensky, Fiala discuss bolstering Ukraine's air defenses
According to Ukrinform, Zelensky announced this on Facebook.
"I held a meeting with Czech Prime Minister Petr Fiala. I informed him of the consequences of Russia's strikes on our energy facilities," he said.
He noted that "Czechia is already assisting us in restoration in this area, and we discussed further ways to support Ukraine's energy resilience and our people."
"We also spoke about the implementation of joint defense projects and the initiative to strengthen the protection of Ukrainian skies," Zelensky added.
"Our views are aligned – sanctions and frozen Russian assets must be aimed at supporting Ukraine, our protection, and defense," he said.
Zelensky thanked the Czech people and the prime minister for their warmth, solidarity, and daily assistance to Ukraine.
