Czech election: Babiš’s party leads after over half of votes counted

After counting more than 60% of the votes in the Czech Republic’s parliamentary elections, former Prime Minister Andrej Babiš’s populist ANO party is leading by a wide margin.

According to Ukrinform, AFP reported this on social platform X.

As noted, Babiš’s ANO party currently leads in the general elections with 37.6% of the vote.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the leader of the right-wing populist ANO party, Andrej Babiš, said he does not intend to lift the EU-imposed ban on Russian media outlets.
