Trump's words may influence Russia — Polish Defense Minister

Ukrinform
The strong words of U.S. President Donald Trump addressed to Russia should influence the Russian Federation and its actions.

This was stated on Wednesday by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense of Poland, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, according to Ukrinform.

"Yesterday's words are an expression of impatience, enormous effort, encouragement, creating space for discussion, for peace, and proposals for a ceasefire. All of this was either ignored or rejected [by Russia]. Therefore, it is not surprising that this impatience grew until it reached its peak in a fairly clear declaration. I expect that it will have consequences and influence the Russian Federation," Kosiniak-Kamysz emphasized.

According to Ukrinform, U.S. President Donald Trump said that, given the situation in Russia, Ukraine is capable of regaining all the territories seized by the aggressor country.

Polish President Karol Nawrocki, speaking at the UN General Assembly session, noted that Poland is once again experiencing manifestations of Russian imperialism and was forced, for the first time since the end of World War II, to open fire on enemy targets on its territory.
