Trump says unaware of pause in Ukraine military aid
He made the statement on Tuesday during a cabinet meeting at the White House, according to Ukrinform's correspondent.
“So we are sending some defensive weapons to Ukraine, and I’ve approved that,” Trump said.
He added that he is doing so, in particular, because Putin treats human lives incorrectly, “is killing too many people.”
At the same time, in response to a question about who caused the pause in arms supplies to Ukraine last week, Trump said, “I don't know. Why don't you tell me?.”
Immediately after that, he moved on to another question.
As reported by Ukrinform, US President Donald Trump praised the bravery of Ukrainian soldiers and the effectiveness of the American weapons provided to them, while emphasizing the need to increase the pace of arms production in the country.
