Zelensky set to meet with Trump on sidelines of NATO Summit

On June 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky is scheduled to hold meetings with U.S. President Donald Trump and other leaders of NATO member countries on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in The Hague.

According to Ukrinform, this information is included in the summit program.

As outlined in the program, today, June 25, President Volodymyr Zelensky will participate in the NATO Summit events. He is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the summit with U.S. President Donald Trump, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, and New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon.

A meeting between President Zelensky and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is also expected, as well as a gathering with leaders of five key NATO countries (the "E5 group") — France, Germany, Italy, Poland, and the United Kingdom.

As previously reported, the two-day NATO Summit is underway in The Hague. The main issues on the agenda include increasing defense spending, strengthening the defense industry in NATO countries, and continuing support for Ukraine.
