Kyslytsya, Italian ambassador discuss peace process, preparations for Ukraine Recovery Conference

First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya met with Italian Ambassador to Ukraine Carlo Formosa to discuss further steps in the peace process and preparations for the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting took place on May 29 and focused on international efforts to end the war in Ukraine and create conditions for a peaceful resolution. Both parties exchanged views on the next steps toward achieving this goal.

A key part of the meeting was dedicated to preparations for the Ukraine Recovery Conference, scheduled to take place in Rome in July. The participants addressed the practical aspects of Ukraine's involvement in this major international event and coordinated efforts to mobilize assistance from partners.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, a preparatory meeting for the Ukraine Recovery Conference had already taken place in Italy.
