Trump says Putin playing with fire
He made the statement on his social media platform Truth Social, as reported by Ukrinform.
“What Vladimir Putin doesn't realize is that if it weren't for me, lots of really bad things would have already happened to Russia, and I mean really bad,” Trump wrote.
The President also emphasized that he believes Putin is “playing with fire.”
As Ukrinform previously reported, in response to recent Russian attacks on Ukraine, Trump said on Sunday that he was unhappy with Putin “killing a lot of people,” adding: “I don’t know what the hell happened to Putin.”
Later, Trump described the Russian president as having “gone absolutely crazy” for needlessly killing people.
Currently, media reports suggest that Trump is considering the possibility of introducing new sanctions on Russia.
