Denmark’s PM: Russia’s airstrikes prove Putin wants war, not peace
Ukrinform
The recent large-scale attacks on Ukraine carried out by Russia prove that Moscow is not interested in peace.
This was stated by Denmark’s Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen during a meeting of Nordic leaders in Finland, Ukrinform reports, citing Reuters.
“During the day Putin talks about negotiations, then he bombs Ukraine during the night,” Frederiksen said.
According to her, the leaders of the Nordic countries agreed that they would support Ukraine for as long it takes. This could involve military aid, investments in Ukraine’s defense industry, and cooperation with Ukrainian companies.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, Ukrainian air defense forces shot down nine Kh-101 cruise missiles and neutralized 288 out of 355 drones launched by Russia during the overnight attack starting on May 25.
