EU will never recognize Russia's illegal occupation of Ukrainian territories – Mathernova

EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova said this in a post on X, according to Ukrinform.

"Russia is trying to redraw borders by force. Sovereignty and territorial integrity are protected by international law, not the object of negotiations. The EU does not and never will recognize Russia's illegal annexation and occupation of Ukraine's territories. Crimea, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk and Luhansk are Ukraine," she said.
