President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he is ready for any format of negotiations with Russia only under the condition that American and European partners support Ukraine and provide security guarantees.

The head of the Ukrainian state said this in an interview with the British broadcaster ITV News, Ukrinform reports.

When asked by a journalist whether he would sit at the negotiating table with Vladimir Putin, Zelensky answered: “If I had an understanding that America and Europe would not abandon us, and they would support us and provide us with security guarantees, then I would be ready for any format of negotiations.”
