Ukraine joins Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba welcomes Ukraine’s accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia.

“I welcome the decision of ASEAN Foreign Ministers to accept Ukraine’s accession to the Treaty of Amity and Cooperation in Southeast Asia. Accession to TAC is one of the goals of Ukraine’s Asia strategy. We look forward to a new chapter in Ukraine-ASEAN relations,” Kuleba posted on Twitter.

The members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) are Brunei Darussalam, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand. The total GDP of the ASEAN countries is now 3.2 trillion US dollars.
