President of the European Council Charles Michel has arrived in the city of Kyiv.

The relevant statement was made by President of the European Council Charles Michel on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In Kyiv today. In the heart of a free and democratic Europe,” Michel wrote, posting a photograph from the capital city’s railway station, where Ambassador of the European Union to Ukraine Matti Maasikas met him.
