Zelensky holds meeting with US Congress senators in Munich

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting with U.S. Congress senators in Munich.

According to Ukrinform, he stated this on Facebook.

"I had a good meeting with U.S. Senators in Munich. We value their support for Ukraine and our warriors," the head of state noted.

Zelensky informed his colleagues about Russia's massive strikes on Ukraine's energy system, the needs for its restoration, and additional missiles for air defense systems to ensure protection.

In addition, the parties discussed work on security guarantees for Ukraine.

"The clarity and precise understanding of each point are crucial for our society's trust in the security guarantees document. For all Ukrainians, it is vital that security guarantees are ratified by the U.S. Congress," Zelensky emphasized.

He thanked the senators for their unwavering bipartisan support for Ukraine and Ukrainians, as well as "every American heart for its help."
