"The vast majority of the members of the Parliament of Ukraine are on the sanctions lists of the Russian Federation," Verkhovna Rada Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said at a briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

As reported, Russia has been amassing its troops near Ukraine's borders since late October. Western media reported, citing sources, that Russia's invasion of Ukraine could take place in early 2022 as Russia plans to concentrate about 175,000 troops. The situation near eastern Ukraine's borders is a matter of concern to US and European officials.
