Zelensky invites Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi to visit Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has invited Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to visit Ukraine, the presidential press service has said.

Zelensky in a phone call congratulated Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the UAE's 50th anniversary, noting the significant achievements of the United Arab Emirates in the fields of ensuring economic growth, developing science and protecting the environment, the report said.

Zelensky stressed the importance of further cooperation with the UAE as one of Ukraine's key trade and economic partners in the Middle East.

For his part, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said that his country is interested in expanding relations with Ukraine in all areas of mutual interest.

Both parties separately discussed prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation in the investment sphere in order to implement projects in Ukraine in the field of infrastructure, energy and agriculture.

A Ukrainian delegation headed by Zelensky paid an official visit to the United Arab Emirates on February 14-15.
