In OSCE, no one believes Russian narratives about Ukraine - Kuleba

That’s according to Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba who recorded a live video address following the meeting in Stockholm on December 2, Ukrinform reports.

The top diplomat noted that although it was cold and freezing in the city, the OSCE ministerial was "sometimes even hot" when it came to the Russian Federation and their attempts to accuse Ukraine of violating the Minsk agreements.

"Yesterday it (the accusation of Ukraine by the Russian foreign minister - ed.) began at a working dinner of ministers and today it continued at a ministerial meeting. But I assure you that it is clear to everyone, who is in fact violating the Minsk agreements, who is shelling Ukrainian positions, who is killing Ukrainian soldiers, who is blocking the Normandy format and the work of the Trilateral Contact Group and the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission," Kuleba said.

The chief of Ukrainian diplomacy added that even the highest-ranking OSCE officials, who are traditionally very tolerant and try not to expose the existing problems, say Russia's blocking of the SMM, its violations of the organization's decisions and the Minsk agreements are unacceptable.

"That's why no one here buys all these Russian narratives. But this is, of course, only half of the solution to the problem, while the other half is how to stop Russia from continuing to threaten Ukraine on both the military and diplomatic fronts," said the foreign minister.

According to Kuleba, many of his bilateral meetings held recently were dedicated to the issue, including with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs Josep Borrell.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the 28th Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe kicked off its work in the Swedish capital on December 2, involving foreign ministers from 57 countries.
