Ukraine is not planning to conduct an offensive military operation in Donbas and remains committed to finding a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has tweeted.

"Russia has increased the intensity of disinformation, including false accusations of Ukraine's alleged preparation for a military attack in Donbas. Officially: Ukraine is not planning an offensive military operation in Donbas. We are committed to finding a political and diplomatic solution to the conflict," he wrote.

Kuleba stressed that the country continues to work hard to revive the Normandy format, with Germany and France as mediators.

"We call on Russia to take a constructive part in diplomatic efforts for a peaceful settlement instead of undermining them," he added.

Kuleba added that at the same time, Ukrainian diplomats continued to work to strengthen the country's defense capabilities in order to deter Russia from its further aggressive actions.
