President approves strategy for reforming special communications service

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed a decree approving the strategy for reforming the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection.

The decree, No. 544/2021, "On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of October 22, 2021 'On the strategy for reforming the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine,'" has been published on the website of the head of state.

"In accordance with Article 107 of the Constitution of Ukraine, I decree to put into effect the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine of October 22, 2021 'On the strategy for reforming the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine' (attached), and to approve the strategy for reforming the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine," the document reads.

The Cabinet of Ministers has been tasked with implementing the strategy.

The decree comes into force from the date of publication.
