Zelensky sacks heads of 19 district state administrations in three regions

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has dismissed the heads of 19 district state administrations in the Donetsk, Kyiv and Chernihiv regions and appointed the head of Mukachevo District State Administration in the Zakarpattia region.
Respective orders of March 29 have been published on the website of the head of state, according to Ukrinform.
According to the documents, the officials were dismissed in accordance with Paragraph 6 of Part 2 of Article 9 of the law "On Local State Administrations" (the reorganization of district state administrations).
At the same time, the president appointed Edhar Tokar head of Mukachevo District State Administration in the Zakarpattia region.
Some 1,469 territorial communities and 136 districts were formed in Ukraine as part of the decentralization reform in 2020.
