EU supports Normandy format and full implementation of Minsk agreements

Although the European Union is not a party to the Normandy format negotiations on settlement in Donbas, it strongly supports the settlement process in the interests of Ukrainian people.
“The EU is not a party to the Normandy format, so the only thing I can say on behalf of the EU is that we strongly support this format and the implementation of the Minsk agreements. We call on all the partners to fulfill all commitments that may help to implement this plan as it is about the people of Ukraine indeed,” European Commission’s Lead Spokesperson for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Peter Stano said in Brussels while answering journalists' questions, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
The Normandy Four summit with the participation of the leaders of Ukraine, Russia, France and Germany will be held in Paris on December 9.
