Razumkov: War in Donbas won’t end quickly
“Of course, we [the new convocation of the Parliament] will be expected to end the war quickly although everyone understands that it cannot be ended quickly and this issue cannot be settled by the parliament. This is a long way the whole country should make, all together,” Razumkov noted.
Speaking about the agenda of the future parliament in the first months of its work and priority bills, Razumkov said that any sector is a priority for Ukraine now.
When asked what unpopular issues the newly elected lawmakers are ready to solve in the first place, the party chairman named the land market.
"The land market, of course, is a controversial issue. The settlement of this issue, on the one hand, can reduce support, but I think we will be able to solve it in such a way that it will work for our benefit," Razumkov said but refused to talk about specific bills.
When asked what three completed reforms he would like to see as the result of his work in the parliament, Razumkov answered: "This is a big political reform, which contains many components, including the fight against corruption. These are educational and medical reforms, which I’m not happy with."
