One person killed and 18 others injured in Sumy region due to Russian shelling

In the Sumy region, one person was killed, and 18 others were injured over the past 24 hours as a result of Russian attacks.

According to Ukrinform, Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, reported this on Telegram.

“A 45-year-old man was killed in the Krasnopillia community; another 18 people were injured, including a 2-year-old child,” Hryhorov wrote.

It is noted that multi-story and private residential buildings, farm buildings, vehicles, infrastructure facilities, vehicles (some destroyed), agricultural machinery, a community center, an educational institution, a store, and others were damaged.

As reported, during a Russian drone attack in the Sumy region on May 2, two boys aged 10 and 11 were injured.

As reported by Ukrinform, on the evening of Saturday, May 2, Russian forces launched a missile strike on civilian infrastructure in the Krolevets community of the Sumy region; six people are known to have been injured.
