The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) is preparing documents to ban the entry to Russian rapper Vasily Vakulenko (Basta) due to his concerts in the occupied Crimea.

The SBU said this to Apostrophe online portal.

"On your information request of 09.08.2017 regarding Vasily Vakulenko, we inform that the relevant department of the SBU has prepared appropriate documents on the decision to prohibit the entry into Ukraine to the above mentioned citizen," the SBU responded to Apostrophe’s request.

As a reminder, despite visiting the occupied Crimea, the rapper was able to give a concert in Kyiv on June 17. The SBU did not prohibit his concert. The next concert of Basta in the capital is scheduled for December 1, 2017.
