Trump says Ukraine tried to sabotage his 2016 election campaign

U.S. President Donald Trump in a tweet on Tuesday said that Ukraine attempted to sabotage his 2016 election campaign in favor of Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton.

“Ukrainian efforts to sabotage Trump campaign - "quietly working to boost Clinton." So where is the investigation A.G.,” Trump wrote.

In his next tweet, President Trump accused current Attorney General Jeff Sessions of taking “a very weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes”.

At the same time, the Embassy of Ukraine in the United States denied the allegations.

"The Ukrainian Embassy has never coordinated the work with the Democratic National Committee on compromising materials," the embassy stressed.
