Gontareva leaves post of NBU governor

Governor of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeria Gontareva has filed a letter of resignation.
Gontareva announced this at a press conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"I decided to leave this post after almost three years as the governor of the National Bank," Gontareva said.
The Verkhovna Rada on June 19, 2014, supported the proposal of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko on the dismissal of Stepan Kubiv from the post of the NBU Governor and appoint to this position Valeria Gontareva.
