Ukrainian Prime Minister Yatsenyuk resigns

Ukrinform
Prime Minister of Ukraine Arseniy Yatsenyuk announced his decision to resign.

This is said in the statement of Arseniy Yatsenyuk.

"I took the decision to resign as the Prime Minister of Ukraine. I will submit it to the Parliament on April 12. The political crisis in the state has been unleashed artificially. The desire to change one person has blinded the politicians and paralyzed their will for real changes in the country,” he said.

Yatsenyuk noted that "we cannot allow destabilization of the executive power to happen during the war.”

“This prospect is inevitable if a new Government of Ukraine is not formed immediately after the resignation,” he added.
