Shokin fires prosecutor involved in drug trafficking

KYIV, July 22 /Ukrinform/. Prosecutor General of Ukraine Viktor Shokin fired the prosecutor of Kyiv region, who was involved in drug trafficking.

Deputy Prosecutor General of Ukraine Oleh Zalisko said this at the briefing, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"As for the prosecutor of Kyiv region, detained on suspicion of drug trafficking, the Prosecutor General instructed to dismiss him and deprive of class and rank," Zalisko said.

As reported, on July 20, the law enforcement officers detained the prosecutor of Kyiv region on suspicion of systematic drug trafficking.
