President appoints new head of State Registration Service

KYIV, February 21 /UKRINFORM/. Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych has signed a decree appointing Dmytro Vorona as chairman of the State Registration Service of Ukraine.

Under another decree, the head of state dismissed Vorona as Ukraine's deputy justice minister.

Respective decrees have been posted on the website of the Ukrainian president.

Vorona has worked as deputy justice minister since February 2012.

On January 30, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov initiated the dismissal of Leonid Yefimenko as head of the State Registration Service due to the poor organization of the service's work. On February 19, the president signed a decree dismissing him from the post.
