Death toll in Gaza since October 2023 reaches nearly 71,400- media
According to Ukrinform, TRT Haber stated this, citing the Gaza Ministry of Health.
"The number of people killed as a result of Israeli army attacks on the Gaza Strip increased by 2 over the past 24 hours, reaching 71,384," the ministry said.
It is also reported that over the past 24 hours, as a result of Israeli attacks, the bodies of three Palestinians, one of whom was pulled from under the rubble, as well as 18 wounded people, were taken to hospitals.
It is noted that since the ceasefire came into effect, 418 people have been killed, 1,171 have been injured, and 684 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
The death toll in the Gaza Strip since the start of Israel's attacks in October 2023 has risen to 71,384, while the number of wounded has reached 171,251.
As Ukrinform previously reported, on October 9, 2025, US President Donald Trump announced that Israel and Hamas had approved the first stage of a ceasefire plan in Gaza during talks in Egypt.
The agreement signed in Egypt entered into force on October 10 after approval by the Israeli government.
