Shooting and blows to car: Kyiv Territorial Recruitment Center responds to incident involving servicemen

According to Ukrinform, the Kyiv City Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center stated this on Facebook.

A video and information circulating online claim that a serviceman struck a civilian vehicle.

To prevent the spread of distorted information, the Center clarified that on November 16, near the Desnianskyi District Territorial Recruitment Center, during mobilisation activities, an unidentified person attacked a serviceman.

The serviceman lost his composure and struck the attacker’s vehicle, the Center noted.

To stop unlawful actions and prevent further assault on the notification group, one of the servicemen fired several shots with a non-lethal weapon into the ground.

Servicemen of the Center called a National Police patrol and an investigative team to establish all the circumstances of the incident and provide it with a legal assessment.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Dnipropetrovsk Territorial Recruitment Center responded to a video on social media showing a civilian covered in blood and stated that on November 7, one of the men, after completing a military medical commission, had committed self-harm.
