Over 40,000 fires recorded in Ukraine’s ecosystems this year – State Emergency Service

Since the beginning of the year, more than 40,000 fires have been recorded across Ukraine’s ecosystems.

Oleksandr Khorunzhyi, spokesperson for the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, said this in a comment to Ukrinform.

“More than 40,000 fires have been recorded in Ukraine’s ecosystems since the start of the year,” he stated.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, as of July 22, a total of 35,100 fires had been documented.
