Enemy drones strike Okhtyrka community: Casualties reported, private sector on fire

A large-scale drone attack by Russian forces targeted the Okhtyrka community in the Sumy region, resulting in multiple fires and injuries.

According to Ukrinform, the attack was reported by Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional State Administration.

“During the night of August 20, Russian forces launched a massive drone strike on the Okhtyrka community. The attack targeted the private sector, igniting fires at the impact sites,” Hryhorov stated.

Preliminary reports indicate that while no fatalities have been confirmed, several individuals sustained injuries and are receiving medical attention.

Emergency services are actively working at the scene to contain the fires and assist the wounded, Hryhorov added.

As earlier reported, on the evening of August 19, Russian troops attacked a village in the Seredyna-Buda community, also in the Sumy region, injuring two men.
