Passenger minivan drives on explosive device in Maryinka district – four people die

In Maryinka district outside Donetsk city, an unidentified explosive device hit a passenger minivan killing four people.

Donetsk region police department reports on its site.

"A call about the blast was received  by Maryinka police station at 8.10. According to preliminary information, four people were killed," a statement said.

It is noted that the vehicle headed from the city of Donetsk to Kurakhove town. Before reaching a checkpoint the van pulled off the main road and drove over the explosive device while driving in the occupied territory.

The number of victims and circumstances of the deadly incident are being clarified.
