Dolgopolov returns to Top 20 in world tennis rankings
KYIV, March 19 /UKRINFORM/. Top seeded Ukrainian tennis player Alexandr Dolgopolov has regained his place in the top twenty in the updated rating of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP), climbing from 21st to 18th place. Another resident of Kyiv - Sergiy Stakhovsky - moved from 76th to 74th position, according to the ATP website.
Serb Novak Djokovic is continuing to top the table. Spaniard Rafael Nadal is second, and Swiss Roger Federer is third.
Victoria Azarenka of Belarus leads the ranking of the Women's Tennis Association (WTA). She is followed by Russian Maria Sharapova and Czech Petra Kvitova.
The top 100 also includes such Ukrainian tennis players as Kateryna Bondarenko, who is in 75th place. Lesya Tsurenko jumped from 115th to 103rd position. Former top seeded Ukrainian tennis player Alona Bondarenko is only 255th.
