Grenade explosion in Zaporizhzhia apartment kills woman, injures two men

This was reported on Telegram by the press service of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Patrol Police, according to Ukrinform.

It is noted that a few days ago, patrol officers received a report of an explosion in one of the apartments in the Kosmichnyi district. The crew immediately headed to the scene.

Inside the apartment, officers found two men with shrapnel wounds.

“The patrol officers immediately began providing first aid: they applied tourniquets, stopped the bleeding, and applied pressure bandages. Thanks to their coordinated and professional actions, they managed to stabilize the victims’ condition before the arrival of medical personnel. They were subsequently hospitalized. Unfortunately, a woman died as a result of the explosion,” the statement reads.

Preliminary reports indicate that a neighbor entered the apartment with a grenade, after which an explosion occurred.

Investigators are determining all the circumstances of the incident.

As reported by Ukrinform, a man was killed and his partner was injured in Mykolaiv as a result of a grenade explosion in a high-rise building.
