Winter crops sown on 461,000 ha in Vinnytsia region for 2026 harvest

This was reported to Ukrinform by the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration (RMA).

“Winter crops for the 2026 harvest have been sown on 461,000 hectares, including 315,000 hectares of winter grains and nearly 146,000 hectares of winter rapeseed,” the RMA reported.

According to updated data, the area under winter crops decreased by 26,000 hectares compared with the previous year.

Recent sampling of monoliths from sown fields showed no damage or plant loss. Winter crops are in good and satisfactory condition.

As reported earlier, despite an unusually cold winter, the condition of winter crops across Ukraine — sown on 6.4 million hectares — remains stable.
