Planned power outage schedules restored in Kyiv, Odesa regions
DTEK Group reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
“Power engineers have managed to stabilize the situation and restore schedules in part of the [Odesa] region," the company said.
DTEK noted that at the same time, a large number of emergency incidents have been recorded across the region due to severe weather.
At this very moment, energy workers are repairing a line in the middle of a field, at the height of a six-story building, the company said.
"Despite the frost and icy winds, we are doing everything possible to restore electricity to homes," the statement said.
DTEK also reported that the Kyiv region is returning to planned schedules.
"Power engineers have managed to stabilize the situation in the Kyiv region. We are returning to scheduled outages," the company said.
At the same time, emergency outages are still ongoing in Kyiv city, and scheduled outage timetables are not in effect there.
To find out where schedules are already in place, residents are advised to check the company's website or chatbot.
Severe weather overnight on January 31 caused snapped wires and damage to power grids in parts of the Odesa region, leading to outages in several districts.
